Sink your teeth into these spooktacular spider cookies - the perfect Halloween treat!

Ingredients

Cookies:

100g caster sugar

110g brown sugar

150g smooth peanut butter

120g butter

1 egg

200g self-raising flour

Topping:

Maltesers

Edible eyes

Melted milk chocolate

Method

1. Add all of the cookie ingredients into a food processor and blend until a soft dough forms.

2. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and space out onto a lined baking tray.

3. Bake at 180C for 8-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and indent the centre of each cookie using a teaspoon. Leave to cool then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.

4. Once cooled, use melted milk chocolate to glue 2 Maltesers on the centre of each cookie. Stick the edible eyes onto the front Malteser. Using the chocolate, draw eight legs around the body of the spider.

5. Allow to set and tuck in!
